The DTU Admissions Board announced the 2021 admissions criteria, based on transcript scores and the 2021 VNUHCM Academic Performance test:
I. Transcript-based admissions criteria
1. Generally: A three-subject average score of 18 points or more.
2. Nursing: A three-subject score of 19.5, or 12th grade graduates with honors or graduation grades of at least 6.5.
3. Pharmacy, General Medicine, Odontoid-Stomatology: A three-subject score of 24, or 12th grade magna cum laude graduates or higher, or graduation grades of at least 8.
Note:
- Applicants may submit their DTU Drawing scores or those from other universities in Vietnam

II. Based on the 2021 VNUHCM Academic Performance test
1. An average score of 600 points or more.
2. Nursing: applicants must achieve a total score of at least 600 and graduate 12th grade ordinary or have high school graduation grades of at least 5.5.
3. Pharmacy, General Medicine, Odontoid-Stomatology: applicants must achieve a total score of at least 640 and graduate 12th grade magna cum laude or higher, or have high school graduation grades of at least 6.5.
III. Admission process timeline
- Stage 1: From August 3rd to 23rd
- Stage 2: From August 24th to September 7th
- Stage 3: If any, from September 8th to October 10th
IV. Required documents for admission
Documents must be submitted IMMEDIATELY on completion of admission procedures:
- The official DTU notification of admission
- A certified copy of the high school transcript
- The original of the temporary high school certificate or a certified copy of the high school diploma if the applicant graduated before 2021
- (Optional), copies of other relevant documents
