Attendees included Mr. Nguyen Cong Duy Khoi, Deputy Head of the DTU Office for Business Collaboration  and Deputy Head of Events of the Vietnam Higher Education Network of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (VNEI); distinguished speakers, including Mr. Van Le Viet Duy, CCO and Co-founder of Hilab Technology; Mr. Le Duc Nguyen, Co-founder of Banh Mi Khoi; Mr. Dang Minh Duong, Head of the DTU Business Club and Chairman of the Board of the Son Duong - Hoa Vien Restaurant; and Mr. Pham Vu Huy Hoang, Founder & CEO of Dev Plus. Opening the program, Mr. Van Le Viet Duy provided students with a comprehensive overview of the nature of AI, its role within the technology ecosystem, and the ways Artificial Intelligence is reshaping industries across sectors. Drawing on his hands-on experience in deploying technology products at Hilab Technology, he shared real-world stories about the rapid growth of AI in Vietnam, sparking strong curiosity and engagement among students.

DTU students actively share their own viewpoints on various topics related to AI-driven entrepreneurship

Mr. Le Duc Nguyen emphasized that AI should not be viewed as a barrier, but rather as a powerful lever that helps young people enhance creativity and productivity. Through practical examples from the Banh Mi Khoi brand, he illustrated how AI can be effectively applied in business operations, from data analysis and operational management to customer experience optimization.

A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion titled “AI-powered startups vs. non-AI startups”, which unfolded in a lively and engaging setting. The speakers analyzed the fundamental differences between AI-enabled startup models and traditional startups. They agreed that AI enables startups to reduce costs, accelerate experimentation, and optimize operations. At the same time, they also pointed out potential risks, such as overreliance on technology, limited access to standardized data, and insufficient human analytical skills to effectively interpret AI outputs. The speakers further addressed numerous questions raised by DTU students and shared practical advice that can be readily applied in learning, research, and the development of startup ideas.

Within the framework of the event, HUB Network Da Nang and the Troy Innovators Network - Society (TINS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This agreement marks an important milestone in their collaboration, aiming to:

-    Strengthen connections between businesses and students,
-    Expand startup support programs,
-    Foster innovation skills among DTU students, and
-    Promote a culture of creativity within the youth community in Da Nang.

The “AI for Startup: Unlocking Development Potential” panel discussion not only delivered strong academic and professional value but also inspired DTU students to actively engage with emerging technologies and confidently pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations. With the continued support of TINS, SBE, along with enterprises and innovation networks, DTU reaffirms its pioneering role in building a comprehensive ecosystem for learning, research, and entrepreneurship.
