This event was part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between VinFast and 30 universities and colleges, aimed at promoting collaboration between businesses and educational institutions in training electric vehicle (EV) technicians and offering skill development programs related to the automotive industry.

With the goal of standardizing curricula, teaching materials, and training resources to develop high-quality human resources that meet real-world demands in electric vehicle manufacturing, maintenance, and repair, VinFast has sponsored two electric vehicles, the VF9 and VF6, along with various training equipment and official technical repair manuals for electric vehicles. This support helps effectively implement the “Learning by Doing - Career-Oriented Education” training model that VinFast is promoting.

In addition to providing the vehicles for on-campus training, VinFast will support the development and implementation of a module titled “Basic VinFast Electric Vehicle Repair Technology” within the university’s formal curriculum, offered either as a required or elective course. At the same time, VinFast will implement a “Train-the-Trainer” technology transfer program for the university’s faculty, enabling them to update their knowledge on battery technology, electric drivetrain systems, and vehicle diagnostic software.

Among the 30 institutions receiving electric vehicles, DTU is one of the few universities to receive the VF9 model - the highest-end version currently available. Through this initiative, DTU students will have enhanced opportunities to conduct research and gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies integrated into the VF9, such as the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), the Smart E-Cockpit virtual cockpit, and many other cutting-edge features.

Alongside their academic studies and practical training at the university, DTU students will also have opportunities to participate in internships and apprenticeships at VinFast service centers and manufacturing plants.

Outstanding students in the cooperative training program will be given priority for recruitment by VinFast after graduation and will also have opportunities to participate in competitions, research projects, and innovation initiatives related to electric vehicle technology. These experiences will help them develop strong professional competencies and confidently integrate into the design and manufacturing sectors of the automotive industry.
