Mai Thien Nhan said: “I first became interested in computers when I entered lower secondary school. Initially, I experimented with simple educational software, but later I enjoyed writing small pieces of code to create visual effects. The more I studied, the more I was fascinated by the logical, rigorous, and creative world of programming.”

Thanks to this determination, Nhan has obtained several remarkable awards in the field of Information Technology:

•    Silver Medal (non-specialized category), 4th Central Highlands Regional Informatics Olympiad, 2023.
•    Third Prize (non-specialized category), 3rd Central Highlands Regional Informatics Olympiad, 2022.
•    Second Prize (Category B), 25th City-Level Youth Informatics Competition, 2022.

Nhan exemplifies a modern Gen Z student-proactive, flexible, and future-oriented: “The Computer Science - TROY program, taught entirely in English, not only emphasizes advanced programming skills but also cultivates critical thinking, logical analysis, and complex problem-solving abilities. I believe these competencies will be gradually strengthened through my studies at DTU. Additionally, I plan to complete two years of study at DTU before transferring to the United States to refine my expertise in a world-leading technological environment, thereby preparing myself to become a competent cybersecurity specialist.”

When asked about his source of inspiration, Nhan mentioned Faker, a world-renowned eSports player: “I admire Faker not only for his technical skills but also for his perseverance, discipline, and relentless passion in striving for excellence. His journey has motivated me to pursue academic and personal growth every day.”

Growing up in a family where his father was a teacher and his mother a civil servant, Huy understood the importance of education from a young age. He actively participated in research projects during high school, including the design of an “Intelligent Walking Stick and Assistive System for the Visually Impaired and Elderly,” which won First Prize in the Embedded Systems category of the Ð?k L?k Provincial Science and Technology Competition (2023–2024).

Huy explained: “Vietnam is facing rapid population aging, and I sincerely wish that no one is marginalized. Everyone should be able to live independently. Therefore, my teammate and I developed this product with modern features that help visually impaired users navigate confidently and provide reassurance to their families. It is not only a useful assistive device but also a reliable companion in everyday life.”

After carefully reviewing leading universities in IT education, Huy decided on DTU: “I fully trust the quality of education at DTU, as many alumni have secured excellent career positions. With the ADP program in Computer Science, I can study in Vietnam at a reasonable cost while still receiving a bachelor’s degree from Troy University, a prestigious institution in Alabama, USA. I believe this degree will give me greater opportunities to pursue my dream of becoming a university lecturer, inspiring future students in the field I am deeply passionate about.”

Pham Anh Kiet - Pursuing Dentistry with a Vision

Driven by a long-standing dream of becoming a doctor, Pham Anh Kiet decided to pursue Dentistry (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) after extensive consideration of universities offering this specialization. He was admitted to DTU and received a 50% tuition scholarship for the first academic year.

During his studies at Le Huu Trac High School (Ð?k L?k), Ki?t actively engaged in research and earned multiple awards in science and technology competitions:
