Held by the municipal Youth Union, Danang Department of Education & Training and DTU from May 8 - 11, the objective of the Da Nang Youth Informatics Contest 2024 was to broaden the knowledge and creativity of IT students, get them to solve practical daily problems and apply them to their lives and the community in general.
The Da Nang Youth Informatics Contest is jointly held by the Municipal Youth Union,
Danang Department of Education & Training and DTU
This year's competition brings together 1,028 contestants across 07 categories, covering various fields such as programming skills, creative products, and software. The competition is open to participants from primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, and continuing education centers in the city, including categories A, B, C1, C2, D1, D2, and D3.
Through the competition, the organizers selected excellent pupils to take part in the long-term and intensive training courses in preparation for the 2024 National Youth Informatics Contest.
573 awards are presented to the most outstanding contestants
After four days of competition, the Da Nang Youth Informatics Contest 2024 concluded with 573 awards being presented to the most outstanding contestants across various categories.
On programming skills:
- Group A (primary schools) had 179 prize winners, including 10 First, 36 Second, 64 Third, and 69 Consolation prizes.
- Group B (secondary schools) had 129 prize winners, including 10 First, 36 Second, 37 Third, and 46 Consolation prizes
- Group C1 (high schools for the gifted) had 42 prize winners, including 4 First, 8 Second, 16 Third and 14 Consolation prizes. Meanwhile,
- Group C2 (high schools) had 112 prize winners, including 13 First, 29 Second, 35 Third, and 35 Consolation prizes.
On creative software:
- Group D1 had 34 prize winners, including 4 First, 6 Second, 15 Third and 9 Consolation prizes.
- Group D2 had 43 prize winners, including 4 First, 6 Second, 12 Third and 21 Consolation prizes.
- Group D3 had 34 prize winners, including 4 First, 6 Second, 10 Third, and 14 Consolation prizes.
