When we choose to study medicine, we commit to the noble mission of preserving people's good health. The medical profession requires knowledge, skills and a strong sense of morality, so we must study hard and become increasingly professional healthcare providers. We will make every effort to study, nurture our ethics, develop skills, and build our courage to become a giant in supporting others, in line with the spirit of the slogan of our university: “Vietnamese Spirit, Innovation, Creativity, Reaching for New Heights!”

The White Coat Ceremony served as a milestone as the students embarked on their clinical practice and began interacting with patients in the hospital environment for the first time. The white coats will reminded them to study and work seriously, carefully and responsibly, exactly the same as fully qualified doctors.  Senior students offered advice on conducting clinical practice at the hospital, including the importance of maintaining and updating a thorough foundation of  basic knowledge, setting appropriate personal goals, proactive learning, respecting patients, and ensuring personal preparedness.

Hoang Huu Phuc, a student from the K27YDK1 class in the DTU College of Medicine and Pharmacy, said: "We would like to sincerely thank our lecturers for their guidance, and DTU for enabling us to prepare ourselves for our journey on the way to becoming doctors. We have cultivated fundamental knowledge over the past three years, and it’s now necessary to gain practical experience in hospitals. The white coat is a source of pride for us and also a reminder of our responsibility as doctors to the people. Therefore, we will constantly learn and hone our minds, hearts, and bodies for our chosen profession.”
