With the authorization of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), on August 21, Mr. Le Van Dai, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Confederation of Labor, awarded a campaign medal "For the Cause of Building the Trade Union" to Hero of Labor and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, Chairman of DTU, in recognition of his contributions to the organization’s development in recent years.
The DTU Trade Union is one of the grassroots unions in the Da Nang Confederation of Labor. Hero of Labor and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co thanked the Standing Board of the City Labor Confederation and DTU lecturers and students for their sustained support.
He stated that DTU would constantly innovate to fulfill the mission: “To provide education and research in Science and Technology and imbue healthy patriotic students with humanistic ideals, a Vietnamese identity, a sense of social responsibility, comprehensive capabilities and skills, to evolve into confident, dynamic, creative and entrepreneurial global citizens.”
