Nguyen Cong Duy said: “I spent the money I earned from working part-time in the summers travelling to several tourist destinations in Vietnam, which helped me in my studies. I was interested in History and greatly appreciated the support of my History teacher in winning a Consolation prize in the Provincial Competition for Excellent Students in 2020-2021.
“I heard about DTU and discovered that the university has invested heavily in tourism education. Their renowned program is shared with Pennsylvania State University in the USA, so I’m studying for a career as a Tour Guide. Always stay strong and proactive, hold onto your beliefs and success will come to you.", Duy added.
Huynh Thi Uyen My dreams of becoming a diplomat

Huynh Thi Uyen My dreams of becoming a diplomat
Like many other high school seniors, Huynh Thi Uyen My spent most of her time studying for the HSGE.
Uyen My said: “Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were unable to attend extra classes, so my friends and I focused on reviewing lessons and doing as many practice tests as possible alone. The more practice tests I did, the more I learned in preparation for the HSGE. I think that teachers can mentor students to understand the lessons thoroughly but that each student must understand their own strengths and weaknesses to orientate themselves for the future.”
“In order to do so, I arranged time to review difficult Math problems, improve my Writing skills and do English exercises. I enjoy meeting and talking with people, feel comfortable in a crowd and am a good communicator. I’m happy when people listen and respond positively to me, so I chose to study International Relations at DTU and become a professional diplomat on graduation.”
Uyen My said that she was eager to study, become acquainted with the new environment and colleagues, and participate in extra-curricula activities, knowing that DTU has many clubs for students to demonstrate their MC, singing, sports, dancing, presentation and speaking talents.
