Skilled DTU Civil Engineering Graduates

The construction industry is a measure of the development of a country, involving increasingly modern infrastructure, public works and new jobs. However, the labor supply in Vietnam does still not meet national demand and there is now severe shortage of skilled workers. Meanwhile, DTU has proved to be a reliable choice for Civil Engineering applicants, guaranteeing that graduates will all be employed immediately.

The Construction Workforce Deficit

Foreign companies are currently investing heavily in Vietnam and more and more upscale residences, high-rise office buildings and factories are under construction throughout the country.

As infrastructure and urbanization develop, the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association estimates that 30% to 40% of the GDP was invested in construction in 2020. Vietnam has 78,000 construction companies, with an expected labor demand of at least 500,000 employees, with 20,000 new qualified engineers required annually.
