Study abroad in the DTU Vietnam-Japan Program

For several years now, the Vietnam-Japan Institute for Strategic Cooperation (VJISC) at Duy Tan University has cooperated with Japanese academic institutions to offer students quality study-abroad programs at reasonable cost. Students experience the advanced Japanese education system and the unique culture.

Japan is called “The land of the rising sun” or “The land of cherry blossoms.” Since the second world-war, Japan has become one of the most sustainable economies in Asia-Pacific and the entire world, attracting many foreigners to study, work and settle down there.

An Agreement with Okayama Shoka University and JOOSS Vietnam
 
There are several high-quality programs available:
 
The 2+1+2 Study-Abroad program includes:
- 2 years of general education and an N3 Japanese level at DTU 
- 1 year of studying Japanese at the N2 level in Japan
- 2 years of specialized majors at a Japanese university.
 
The 2+2 Study Abroad program includes:
- 2 years of general education and an N3 Japanese level at DTU 
- 2 years of specialized majors at a Japanese university.
 
Vietnamese students will graduate with a Japanese degree and be selected for internships in Japanese companies. On completion, they attend recruitment interviews and sign 5-year employment contracts with benefits, including a permanent resident visa.
 
Career Opportunities  
 
Affiliated universities include Ashikaga University; Josai International University; Okayama Shoka University; Sanyo Gakuen University; Okayama Shoka University and others. Graduates can then work full-time for Japanese companies in Vietnam for 20 million vnd/month, or in Japan for 40 million. The leading candidates with N1 Japanese certificates are guaranteed jobs at Japanese companies.
 
Dr. Le Vinh An, VJISC Director said: “The Vietnam-Japan program students will pay the same fees as normal DTU students but share the actual Japanese university curriculum. They study at DTU for the first 2 years to learn basic Japanese and the culture, project design and conceptual thinking, to help them quickly adapt to the life in Japan. During their stay in Japan, they will be offered part-time jobs by the Japan Study Abroad Support Fund with an income of 18 million vnd/month.”
