The 2016-2017 Year-End Conference of Union Work and Student Movement

On November 11, DTU held the 2016-2017 Year-End Conference of Union Work and Student Movement in order to review and make plans for next year. Attendees included Mr. Le Phi Tuan, Head of the Board of the Danang Schools Youth Union; Mr. Dinh Ngoc Lam Dien, Chief of Staff of the Danang Students' Association; Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Standing Party Committee and DTU Vice-Provost; and many other members in the university Standing Committee and the university Executive Committee.

According to the report on its activities in the 2016-2017 academic year, the DTU Youth Union held regular law, political and ideological educational meetings and some campaigns such as: “Storming and Volunteering for Socioeconomic Development”, “Defense of the Fatherland”, “Accompanying Young Entrepreneurs”. Also, 63 union members were introduced to the Party training course, in which 40 members were admitted to the Party, including 26 students. 
 
DTU Youth Union awards the faculty and class Youth Union for their high achievements

In the conference, Mr. Le Phi Tuan presented Duy Tan University the Recognition Award for its high achievements in Union work and the student movement last term, which is granted by the Central Union. “After a year, the DTU Youth Union has achieved many successes and received the high appreciation of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the Danang Youth Union and the Commendation and Reward Committee. In the next academic year, I believe Duy Tan University will complete its set targets and assigned tasks", said Mr. Le Phi Tuan.
In recognition of their achievements, members in the university Executive Committee, the faculty and class Executive Committee, the Karate club, the Acoustic club and union members participating in the Summer Volunteer Campaign were awarded by the DTU Youth Union.
