DTU Students to participate in a Business Start-up Course

On May 28th and 29th, DTU and the Business Forum Newspaper jointly held a Business Start-up course. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc from Business Forum Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, a CEFE lecturer, Mr. Ly Dinh Quan, Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship Support Company, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, DTU lecturers and students attended.

Mr. Phuoc said: “Learning how to start up a business is important because it an opportunity for students to use their passion to build a career and become wealthy. DTU aims to develop students’ creativity and entrepreneurship while they are still at university so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to start up their own business in the near future.”

Mr.Ngoc analyzed the potential of various types of business enterprises, lessons learnt from successes and failures and provided a wealth of valuable experiences for the students. 

Mr. Quan talked about his business experiences and encouraged students to discuss their ideas in group work sessions, presentations and in brain-storming and planning activities.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao from K19PSU KKT2 said “I’ve learnt a lot. I always thought I had to try my best to impress interviewers and get a suitable job. Now I know that, with the education and skills I acquired at university, I can create my own job or work for others.”

Fifty DTU students received Certificates of Completion. The knowledge gained on the coursewill be a solid foundation for them to overcome their challenges and realize their dreams.
