Distinguished Teacher and Labor Hero Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, said: “Quang Nam is the birthplace of many talented Vietnamese and is also known as the the province that offered the most resistance in the wars. I was born, grew up and became a revolutionary there, so I understood the loss and the pain that the people have suffered and did my best to contribute to the reconstruction of my hometown. I expect that you will all continue to follow our national traditions, to study hard and make significant contributions to our country.”

Arâ´l Trinh, a 12th grader at the Ethnic Minority Boarding School in Quang Nam said: “It is a great honor to receive a scholarship today. It will encourage me to study hard and realize my dreams. We were able to visit the DTU campus and spend the day playing the role of a student there. We know that, as well as continuously raising the quality of education there, DTU holds regular extra-curricular activities for students to improve their soft skills to meet the increasing demands of employers. I trust DTU to guide us in our studies.”
