With a fine performance, DTU won three A prizes, two B prizes and a first delegation prize at the Regional Student Singing Contest, which was held from December 1st to 4th at the Danang University of Technology. DTU now goes on to the National Finals in April 2016 in Danang.

The contest is jointly hosted by MOET, the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and the HCM Communist Youth Union every two years, for the healthy enjoyment of students nationwide. This year’s contest included thirteen teams from Nghe An, Thua Thien-Hue, Danang, Ninh Thuan and elsewhere.

By choosing the song “Vietnam, Mother and Fatherland” as their theme, DTU successfully portrayed images of heroic mothers, brave soldiers and the young pioneers who together silently made a huge contribution to Vietnamese independence. The students once again demonstrated their great talents and their love, ambitions and responsibilities for their country.
