Workshop: "Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics"

As a part of the 3rd World Tourism Conference and 17th International Joint World Cultural Tourism Conference jointly hosted by Duy Tan University and World Cultural Tourism Association and the Korean Academic Society of Culture and Tourism, on November 19th, DTU Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality collaborated with the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the Smith Travel Research to hold “Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics” workshop. Attendees included representatives of the Smith Travel Research Inc, Hotel Industry in Danang, lecturers of Tourism in Danang and DTU lecturers of Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality.

Recently, Vietnam’s tourism industry has made fast progress in the number of tourists and investors. Many international standard resorts, hotels and plazas have been built to meet the increasing demands of tourists. The analytics of business environment is the very first key step to bring success to investors. STR and STR Global (America) was founded to provide hoteliers, as well as third-parties affiliated with the hotel industry with actionable performance data.
