A Gala Dinner was held at DTU for a visiting Rangsit University delegation from Thailand on October 22nd. This was a key event in Rangsit’s cultural exchange mission around South East Asian countries.

A DTU student opened the proceedings with a rousing English song and students chatted to each other in fluent English about their lives, hobbies, studies, travel and future careers.
Phan Anh Huy, a DTU student of Business Administration, said: ”At the Gala, we have learnt a lot about the culture and educational system in Thailand. As a student of business, I found the Gala very informative and learnt some interesting new things, like career planning, starting up a business, and business planning. I expect that more and more events of this type will be held in the future so that students have the opportunity to learn, share their ideas, aspirations and make new friends.”

Suniti Kongsantad, a student of Rangsit University, said: “Our trip to Vietnam lasted for ten days and we stayed in Danang for two. I enjoyed Danang very much, it’s clean and has beautiful beaches. The Gala was really enjoyable. I had the chance to learn more about Vietnamese culture and made some new friends. I hope to return one day to meet them all again.”
The students left with many good memories of the Gala, which provided a good opportunity for ASEAN students to have fun, exchange ideas, make friends and work hard to achieve their career objectives.
