The opening ceremony of the DTU Women’s Football Tournament was held on October 20th at the DTU Campus in South Hoa Khanh, to commemorate Vietnamese Women’s Day.

There were sixteen teams from several DTU faculties. They were divided into four groups. The first and second team in each group played each other and the four winners in the quarterfinals moved into the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals competed in the finals. The woman entertained the spectators with terrific games of football.
The match between the Vocational School, in yellow, and Accounting
In Group A, the match between the International School and Humanities and Social Sciences drew at 1-1. In group B, the Business Administration team beat the Skills Club with a score of 4-1. In group C, Accounting overwhelmed the Vocational School 7-1 and in group D the Hospitality and Tourism won against Foreign Languages 1-0.
The DTU Women’s Football Tournament lasts until October 30th with many thrilling matches. The event is an opportunity for DTU Women to improve their athletic skills health and appreciation of sports. In addition, it helps students of various faculties to get to know each other.
