On April 5th, the Opening Ceremony of the 2013 DTU Camping Trip, known as “Duy Tan’s Impression” was held at Southern Hoa Khanh in Danang. The camping expedition enabled students to get to know each other and engage in patriotic activities. Attendees included the sponsor, FM Style, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, Mr. Nguyen Thoi, Head of the DTU Office of Student Affairs, representatives from the local government and more than 4,300 students.

The event took place between April 5th and 6th , with a variety of interesting games and activities, including flashmod dancing, group dancing, a masquerade contest, musical performances, a camp-fire and a big contest called “The Nation’s Islands”. Most DTU students attended and helped to set up and decorate the camp the day before.

Mr. Nguyen Thoi said: “This year, we are holding a large camping event with many exciting games and other activities. I hope that all DTU students will participate enthusiastically to make this a successful and unforgettable experience for all”.
The camping trip commemorated the 82nd Anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and the 38th Anniversary of the National Reunification. “Following our glorious traditions, the young generation of Vietnam, and of Duy Tan University in particular, will strive to study harder to contribute to the development and strength of our nation”, added Mr. Thoi.
