DTU Students Meet with Students from Rangsit University in Thailand

On August 13th, Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU chairman and Rector, together with lecturers and students from the Department of Foreign Languages and the International School met with students from Rangsit University in Thailand. Students had the opportunity to understand more about the culture and customs of each country and about life at the two universities.

Warmly welcoming Rangsit University, Mr. Le Cong Co said: “I visited your university 3 years ago and, so far, our partnership has developed steadily. I am happy to welcome all of you to DTU and hope you have an enjoyable trip to Vietnam. I hope that our relationship will continue to progress and that we can maintain our strong ties with you”.

During their trip, Rangsit University visited two countries, Vietnam and Cambodia. Ms. Amporn Puapradit, Head of International Business Department, said “We had three interesting and adventurous days in Cambodia and look forward to three more in Vietnam. Our main objective is to help students get more practical experience about international culture and friendship. We love Vietnam and are interested in learning your language to give us gain a deeper understanding of your university and Vietnamese society.

Ms. Chaniddapa Boonrod, a student from the International Business Department at Rangsit University said: “This is the second time I have visited Vietnam and I’ve experienced many fine impressions. I really like the national image of Vietnamese women in their cultural “Ao dai” and “Conical hats”.  I am certainly impressed by the ebullient study environment at DTU and your students’ energy. I am happy to make new friends and learn more about Vietnam and your culture”.
