The volunteers also met a delegation from DAEGU in Korea and helped them present gifts to the children. “It was a surprise for us to meet the DTU students here. We were very happy to spend time with the children and hope to work with DTU students again at other charitable events”, said Mr. Jang Sing Goo, a KIA Motor representative.
The DTU Volunteer Students Club was founded in 2010 to organize voluntary, charitable events in poor, remote areas. The club has proved to be very popular and is funded by the DTU Board of Rectors, faculty and students.
