On December 17th, 2010, NIIT-India, in collaboration with DTU, held a seminar to introduce its short-term “English for I/T” training courses.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuan, Director of NIIT-DTU, Mr. Vijo, a representative of NIIT-India in Vietnam as well as many I/T faculty members and students attended the seminar.

At the workshop, Mr.Vijo presented the latest I/T technologies, including Program Design and ITIL and SQL Server 2008. These are the newest I/T tools being adopted worldwide. The teaching program “English for I/T” was also introduced to the students. By registering for this program at NIIT-DTU, students have the opportunity to win valuable hi-tech gifts, such as iPhones, iPads, iPods and so on.
This is a practical way for I/T students to enhance their English to improve their study and career prospects. In the future, it will also be very useful in applying for scholarships overseas, and, at the same time, understanding the latest advances in I/T.
