On October 14th,2010, the K16 Second Degree Program Opening Ceremony took place. Attendees were Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu, Vice Rector of DTU, Dr. Ho Van Nhan, Manager of DTU’s Distance Learning Center and all students. Following the success of the 2010 enrollment, many other programs at DTU such as postgraduate, distance learning, transfer and second degree courses have attracted many new students.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu greeted the students and talked briefly about the DTU Second Degree Program. He said: “In 2006, the credit-based Second Degree Program started and has attracted many students from other universities in Danang. Students graduated from this program are highly regarded by local companies. Some continue to study postgraduate programs at DTU and other universities”.

Dr. Ho Van Nhan explained the regulations of the Second Degree Program at DTU and answered some questions from students about the credit-based system, learning methods, tuition and the transfer process. He said that “The DTU Distance Learning Center is always willing to provide students with the best study conditions. They can register to study for two degrees at the same time and can get two certificates when they graduate. This could help them find a good job”.
This year, the Second Degree Program enrolled over 740 students who registered to study Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Finance and Banking, Business Management and Hospitality Management.
