On July 4th, 2010 in the Quang Trung campus auditorium the DTU Labor Union held an award ceremony for the children of faculty member of all ages who attained excellent results at their schools. Mr.Tran Van Hung - Vice Secretary of DTU Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Labor Union, parents and the pupils attended this ceremony.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Hung presented awards to the pupils. Many exciting activities were organized, for examples funny games and story-telling, to strengthened the relationship between faculty children and DTU
Over the past three years, the educational standard of these pupils has been increasing dramatically.
For example, Vo Le Phuong Dung, the daughter of Mr. Vo Huu Thu from the Department of Student Affair, won two first prizes in biology and mathematics at the city level. And the son of Nguyen Van Nhan from the Administration Office is very good at Mathematics with a first prize at the tenth grade. Now, they are both studying at Le Quy Don High School.
Their proud achievements were driven by their passion and by the encourage of families, teachers and leaders of DTU. Furthermore, the academic tradition of DTU faculty children is being strengthened by the pupils’ result.
