The DTU Technology and Engineering programs have achieving remarkable results in both education and scientific research, with students earning major awards in national and international competitions. Specifically, the Automotive Engineering Technology program has received significant investment from the university, including a state-of-the-art lab system worth nearly 20 billion VND, equipped with advanced tools made in South Korea, Germany, and Japan. DTU students of Automotive Engineering Technology also gain hands-on training such as safe driving practice and working with training equipment for traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles, as well as the latest electric vehicle models.

The collaboration with Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam in training will undoubtedly create favorable conditions for DTU Automotive Engineering Technology students to enhance their practical skills in Hyundai's "Korean-standard" working environment.

DTU Provost Dr. Le Nguyen Bao said: "Both Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam and DTU have made sustained efforts to achieve the successful signing we witness today. In the current trend of globalization, having a reliable partner to collaborate with is incredibly important. Therefore, I highly appreciate Hyundai's vision in investing not only in the industrial sector in Vietnam but also in higher education in the country. DTU has been engaged in higher education in Vietnam for 30 years, and we fully understand the importance of nurturing and fostering future generations for the country's development. Collaborating with and learning from advanced nations is essential for Vietnam's sustainable development journey. Among these, South Korea stands as a key partner for Vietnam.

From the "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" between the two countries, DTU has benefited greatly through collaborations with South Korean businesses. Notably, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam is one of our most significant partners, particularly as DTU places a strong emphasis on investing in and advancing the fields of Technology and Engineering.

Hopefully, this partnership will continue to flourish in the years to come, not only in student training but also in fostering and strengthening collaborations between Vietnamese and South Korean partners."

In 2024, the DTU Center for Visualization & Simulation (CVS) launched a scientific and technological product: "Comprehensive Simulation and Interaction in Smart Automotive Engineering Training." This innovation allows students to move beyond theoretical learning and engage directly in hands-on practice through 3D simulation technology and comprehensive interaction in a virtual environment, enabling them to acquire in-depth knowledge in Automotive Engineering and Mechanics.
