DTU Signs Cooperation Agreements with Daedong Hospital and Daedong University, South Korea

Expanding cooperation in healthcare, education, research, and academic exchange was the central focus of the agreements signed between Duy Tan University (DTU) and South Korea’s Daedong Hospital and Daedong University on August 27, 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Enkhbold Namuunzul of Daedong Hospital’s International Healthcare Center said that she was particularly impressed by DTU’s efforts to develop a modern educational environment and expand its international partnerships. According to Ms. Namuunzul, the meeting marked a meaningful beginning, enabling the two sides to gain a better understanding of each other’s strengths, needs, and shared values. She expressed her hope that the ideas and goodwill demonstrated at the signing ceremony would soon be translated into concrete initiatives delivering positive and lasting outcomes for both sides.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding between DTU and Daedong Hospital in Busan, the two institutions agreed to promote exchanges and cooperation in healthcare while gradually building a long-term partnership founded on mutual respect, trust, and goodwill. They will also strengthen information sharing, exchange views on developments in healthcare and other matters of mutual interest, and pursue appropriate forms of cooperation that contribute to their shared development.

People’s Teacher, Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Dang, DTU Vice Provost, said: “It’s an honor for DTU to sign cooperation agreements with Daedong Hospital and Daedong University of South Korea. We firmly believe that the partnerships established today will continue to grow stronger and become more substantive in the years ahead. In particular, we hope that DTU, Daedong Hospital and Daedong University will further advance collaborative projects in scientific research, healthcare technology transfer, and academic exchange, thereby jointly creating outstanding educational and healthcare value for the community.”

 

Alongside cooperation in healthcare, the signing of the Academic Cooperation Agreement between DTU and Daedong University marked another important milestone at the event. Under the agreement, the two institutions will focus on several key areas, including facilitating and expanding student exchanges, thereby enabling students to interact with their international peers and experience an advanced educational environment. They will also promote exchanges of faculty members and administrative staff to share experience and strengthen management capabilities and teaching methods.

 

In addition, DTU and Daedong University will collaborate on joint research projects and co-organize lectures, conferences, seminars, and academic forums. The two institutions have also committed to sharing educational resources and scholarly publications, enriching the materials available for teaching and learning.


Building on the meaningful connections established at the ceremony, the partnerships among DTU, Daedong Hospital, and Daedong University are expected to create a wide range of opportunities for learning and advanced research while enabling students and faculty members to confidently develop their professional capabilities in international healthcare and academic environments.
