ABET accreditation assures excellence in teaching and learning 
 
In November 2020, Duy Tan University was reorganized into five member schools and two training institutes, as a foundation for future strategic development. Advanced International programs were then offered by the DTU International School, the DTU Hospitality & Tourism Institute and the DTU School of Engineering & Technology.
 
DTU offers the following advanced international programs:
 
Majors in IT/Computer Science, in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), ranked fourth in IT education in the US:
 
- Information Security, ABET accredited in 2019
- Management Information Systems, ABET accredited in 2019 
- Software Technology/ Engineering, ABET accredited in 2021
 
Majors in Economics, Management and Service, in collaboration with Pennsylvania State University (PSU), one of the top US universities in Business Administration and Management & Hospitality:

Majors in Architecture and Construction, in collaboration with California State University Fullerton (CSU), the largest school in the California State university system, and with California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, one of the top five universities in Architecture in the USA.

Majors in Electrical engineering, in collaboration with Purdue University (PNU), ranked fourth in technology and engineering in the US.

Lecturers come from CSU, CMU, PSU and PNU directly, or from the DTU International School. DTU has implemented standardized teaching methods employed worldwide to motivate students to enjoy their work, become more proactive in their basic and in-depth studies and improve their English, communications, teamworking, problem-solving, time management and presentations skills:
 
- PBL (Problem-Based Learning/Project-Based Learning), in Economics, Hospitality and Management 
- CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate), in Technology and Engineering
 
Graduates are awarded from 19 to 24 international course completion certificates by the American universities, which are recognized globally.

DTU programs ranked by Times Higher Education in 2022
 
DTU was listed in the Top 500 Universities internationally by Times Higher Education (THE), where the two DTU Computer Science and Engineering and Technology programs were ranked between 251-300.
 
According to Dr. Ha Dac Binh, Dean of the DTU School of Engineering & Technology, "To reach this level, the university has been developing comprehensive large-scale plans to enhance infrastructure, teaching, teamworking, student care and business relationships. DTU lecturers receive regular training, at home and abroad, especially at US universities. The introduction of innovative teaching methods and the latest equipment has enabled DTU to deliver the optimum environment, knowledge and skills to prepare graduates for the best future careers."
 
Laboratories for practice and research activities
 
The DTU Hospitality & Tourism Institute (HTi) has constructed practice labs to simulate a standard 5-star hotel, a conference center, the Utravel agency, a buffet and a coffee shop.

Practice labs, tailored to real-time environments
 
DTU School of Engineering & Technology (SET) has built three mechanics workshops, eight laboratories, the Center for Electrical Engineering (CEE) and the Center for Mechanical Engineering (CME), to facilitate research on the manufacture of high-quality products and to tap opportunities for their commercialization.
 
SET has installed the Kasuga V10 CNC system, the Siemens S7-300 and S7-1200 PLC machines, the industrial UR3 robot arms from Universal Robotics, a Winho high speed precision lathe and a Fintek hydraulic press.

DTU’s impressive equipment motivates the users
 
All classrooms are equipped with highly configurable computer equipment, with all the appropriate software. The university library also contains several thousand books, combined with online access to other publications. 
 
Benefiting from this international environment, DTU students have been individually recognized for their accomplishments over the years: 
 
- Le Dinh Nhat Khanh, a major in CMU Advanced Software Engineering, was Champion at the 2017 CDIO Academy in Canada
- Ton That Binh, a major in CMU Advanced Software Engineering, was Champion at the 201 CDIO Academy in Finland 
- Dang Quoc Dao, a major in CSU Advanced Civil Engineering, and the DTU IDEERS team received top honors for their presentation entitled “Introducing and Demonstrating Earthquake Engineering Research in Schools,” in Taiwan in 2014. 
- Pham Quang Trung and Nguyen Chau Thanh won second prize at the 16th Physics Olympiad
 
Finding the best company and work environment
 
Graduates of DTU majors are guaranteed jobs immediately, thanks to the national recognition of the quality of a DTU education. Several well-known local companies partner to employ them as interns or full-time, including IBM, Microsoft, LG, Viettel, Fsoft, BAP, mgm, CodeComplete, Enclave, LogiGear, Axon Active, DAC Tech, Sun*, the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula, the Four Seasons Resort, the Nam Hai, the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa, JIBANNET ASIA, VACS and others.
