DTU signed an agreement with EduGo Education International on December 24 to facilitate Nursing students to study and work in Germany. Attendees included Board of Directors’ Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Ba Tuong; Hero of Labor and Meritorious Teacher Le Cong Co, Chairman of the DTU Board of Trustees; and staff and lecturers from DTU and EduGo.
Germany is the fourth most industrially developed nation in the world and the home of famous brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Siemens and Bayer. To share in its high standards of living, education and healthcare, the German government welcomes international students, especially Vietnamese, to study and work there, and ultimately become German citizens.

“During our 26 years of development, we have always been focused on improving education, investing in research, and implementing policies that firmly integrate theory and practice,” said DTU Vice-Provost, Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh. “The goal of the university is to educate students who will rapidly adapt to new and dynamic career requirements worldwide.
“There is a now a grave shortage of medical professionals in Germany and other European countries, so EduGo’s consulting operations overseas are particularly important these days. I hope that our partnership will enable DTU students to study, improve their professional skills and find well-paid nursing jobs there.”
According to the memorandum of cooperation, EduGo will provide DTU with guidance on preferential training programs and fee structures for a professional overseas studies program, leading to a Diploma of Nursing, which will include workshops, conferences and exchange meetings.

Students traveling to Germany will enroll in intensive training at the German Language and Culture Institutes in Hanoi or at DTU, and then join free Nursing classes in Germany, with advanced facilities and equipment, for 12 to 15 months. At the same time, they will earn up to 2,000 euros per month and be introduced to jobs in German hospitals, polyclinics and sanatoriums in Berlin, Bavaria and other locations.
