An Agreement with Danang International Airport

On October 22, DTU signed an agreement with the Danang International Airport (DIA) to allow students to broaden their knowledge, skills and career prospects.

In attendance were Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Vice-Director of the Danang International Airport; Mr. Le Khanh Tung, Director of the DIA Training center; Mr. Nguyen Tien Dan, Vice-Manager of the DIA Engineering Department; Mr. Huynh Van Tan, Vice-Director of the DIA Operation Center; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Secretary of the DIA Youth Union; Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost; Associate Professor Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Dean of DTU's School of Economics; Dr. Ha Dac Binh, Dean of DTU's School of Engineering; Associate Professor Dr. Ton Nu My Nhat, Vice-Dean of DTU's School of Foreign Languages; Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Head of the DTU Center for Cooperation and Technology transfer, as well as DTU students and lecturers. 
 
Danang International Airport is now the third busiest in Vietnam. It serves 32 airlines, transporting 15.5 million passengers a year to 40 locations worldwide. 
 
Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Vice-Director of the Danang International Airport, said: “This agreement represents an important step in the DIA personnel development plan. DTU and DIA will work together to implement effective human resource training and research programs to help streamline Danang’s evolution. We welcome all DTU students and graduates to our team.”

The agreement is signed 
 
DIA will partner with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering to implement education and practical exchange programs for lecturers, students and technicians to refine the quality of the education at DTU, and provide recruitment information and job opportunities. 
 
DTU will work with DIA to conduct research projects, publish results in domestic and international journals, teach foreign languages to DIA staff and arrange internships at the airport.
