Prof. Summers presents the Community Economy Project
According to Prof.Summers, the “Community Economy Project” competition is organized annually by Seattle University for students in Washington D.C. They can register individually or in groups by planning a community economy project and then defending their ideas in front of a scientific board. In the partnership between DTU and Seattle University, DTU students can register for the first round of the competition at DTU. Outstanding projects will be chosen to participate in the final round of the competition in Seattle next year. DTU and Seattle University will jointly sponsor the selected projects. The Grand Prize will be worth $2,500 USD and the second $1,000.
Prof. Summers also presented some basic information about community economy projects, with instructions on how plan a DTU project effectively. This was also an opportunity for DTU students to demonstrate their skills and exchange information with students from Seattle University.
