On April 23, 2026, Times Higher Education (THE) officially released the Asia University Rankings 2026. A total of 929 higher education institutions from 36 countries and territories were included in this year’s rankings. Vietnam had 11 universities featured in the Asia University Rankings 2026. The universities were evaluated based on 18 performance indicators grouped into five categories: Research Quality (30%), Research Environment (28%), Teaching/ the learning environment (24.5%), Industry (10%), and International Outlook (7.5%).
