Sinh viên Điều hành Doanh nghiệp trong môi trường mô phỏng bền vững tại DTU ERPsim League 2026
On the morning of April 11, 2026, the final round of rank A of the DTU ERPsim League 2026 took place in a boisterous atmosphere, with presentations by the six most outstanding teams. This marked the conclusion of months of training and competition in a modern simulated business-management environment.
The DTU ERPsim League 2026 is an academic competition that simulates enterprise management. It is organized at DTU to identify and develop highly capable teams for academic competitions at higher levels. Through an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, DTU students personally run a business in a simulated environment to strengthen their skills in data analysis, financial management, supply chain coordination, and business-strategy development under competitive market conditions.

a boisterous atmosphere, with presentations by the six most outstanding teams
In the earlier simulation rounds, the contestants went through four consecutive operating cycles, each representing twenty days of real-world business activity. Decisions on production, procurement of raw material, product distribution, and technology investment had direct impact on business performance, debt levels, and company value. Of note, increasing carbon taxes across each round required teams to carefully balance short-term profits with long-term strategies for sustainable development.
After completing the simulation phase, the six best teams advanced to the final presentation round, where they personally presented their business strategies, analyzed financial data, and evaluated their operational performance. The presentations focused on clarifying business results through financial reports, explaining the reasons behind successes and limitations, and proposing future development plans if the business were to continue operating.

During the final round, the jury highly valued the teams’ analytical thinking and their ability to make data-driven decisions. Many teams demonstrated strong risk awareness, knew how to adjust their logistics strategies, and invested in green technologies to reduce emissions costs, thereby improving overall efficiency. Teamwork, task allocation, and time management were other key factors that helped teams handle the pressure of the simulated environment.
A highlight of this year’s competition was the integration of sustainability in all business operations. Rather than focusing solely on profit, the contestants had to balance business performance with environmental responsibility. This reflects real-world business trends, where environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) criteria are increasingly important benchmarks for evaluating corporate management capabilities.

At the close of the competition, the organizers announced the awards to teams with outstanding performance:
- first prize: Glory Hunters,
- second prize: MasterMind,
- third prize: Maroon 5,
- consolation prizes: Flying Cow Believers and K.I.D.
“From the beginning, we took this as not just a technical competition, but as a real business-management challenge,”
Nguyen Thien Ly, a student of Marketing & Strategic Management (HP), said for the Glory Hunters team, who won first prize. “We therefore devoted significant time to preparing our skills in system operation and in data analysis, and also to come up with response scenarios for market fluctuations within the simulation. We regularly met with the team to clearly assign roles and to test multiple strategic options, to identify the optimal approach before entering the official rounds.
“During our participation, we also faced practical challenges such as conflicting class schedules among team members. At times, only one or two members could be there to operate the business rather than the full team as originally planned. This forced us to adapt our workflow, improve communication, and develop more flexible decision making. While these difficulties did affect the execution of our strategy, they also strengthened our ability to adapt quickly and to work under high pressure.”
With the success of this year’s installment, the DTU ERPsim League continues to affirm its role as a large-scale academic contest where DTU students connect theoretical knowledge with practice and prepare better for the real-world environment after graduation.
