Ready for the Real World - Connecting with Businesses, Preparing for Internships
On January 28, the Faculty of English Language of the DTU School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences held a career exchange and orientation event titled “READY FOR THE REAL WORLD” at Hall 105, Building G, 120 Hoang Minh Thao campus. The program was designed to provide students with practical insights and essential preparation before entering their internship semester.

The “READY FOR THE REAL WORLD” program helps students enhance
their professional awareness and strengthen essential skills, empowering them to enter
their internships with greater confidence and to build their career paths after graduation.
At the event, students of the Faculty of English Language had the opportunity to connect directly with recruiters and hear practical insights into current labor market demands, the skills required during internships, job opportunities, and career development pathways. The interactive Q&A session also allowed students to raise questions and receive specific guidance from company representatives.
The program not only helped students clarify their career directions but also reinforced the connection between academic training and real-world workforce expectations. This is also one of the activities that highlights the DTU Faculty of English Language's bridging role in accompanying and supporting students as they prepare to enter the professional working environment.
More than just a career exchange and orientation program, “READY FOR THE REAL WORLD” serves as a meaningful stepping stone that helps students build professional awareness, strengthen necessary skills, and confidently prepare for their internships and future careers after graduation.
