Final Round of DTU Chinese Speech Contest
On April 11, the Faculty of Chinese Language, of DTU’s School of Languages, Humanities & Social Sciences (LHSS), held the final round of its university-level Chinese Speech Contest, drawing strong interest and participation from students.

DTU students confidently showcase their Chinese skills in the final round
This year’s competition brought together nine outstanding contestants, representing students with exceptional Chinese proficiency. Across the rounds, they created a vibrant, engaging, and inspiring academic atmosphere. In the final round, contestants demonstrated both their language proficiency and stage presence through speeches on the theme: “Learn another language, open up a new horizon.” Each presentation was thoughtfully prepared, offering diverse perspectives on the role of foreign languages in learning, careers, and global integration. Contestants also showcased their language proficiency, logical thinking, and impressive presentation skills.

Ngo Van Thanh Danh wins first prize
The talent segment followed and was a highlight of the program. Contestants delivered a variety of performances, including singing, dancing, and Chinese-language film dubbing. The auditorium came alive with emotional and creative performances. Several dubbing acts stood out for their natural delivery and expressive acting, while singing and dancing performances highlighted the students’ confidence, artistic abilities, and appreciation of Chinese culture.
After these two rounds, the judges selected the top five contestants to advance to the Q&A round. In this segment, contestants answered situational questions in Chinese with limited time. The round required quick thinking, logical reasoning, and fluent expression.
Many contestants delivered confident and well-rounded answers that left a strong impression on both the judges and the audience.

- Second prize: Le Thi Kim Pa, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa
- Third prize: Ho Nhat Quynh Truc, Cao Tieu Ly
- Consolation prize: Nguyen Thi Dieu Huyen, H Phuong Ayun, Nguyen Hoang Kim Oanh, Pham Ngoc Ly
