DTU Transfers AnatomyNow System to KMAX
On April 15, 2026, DTU marked a significant milestone in its technology internationalization roadmap by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangxi KMAX Industrial Co. Ltd., a pioneer in virtual reality (VR) and 3D interactive technologies in China.

The signing
This event goes beyond a commercial partnership; it also demonstrates DTU’s research capabilities, as AnatomyNow, a system developed by DTU scientists, has officially been transferred and integrated into KMAX’s hardware ecosystem.
The agreement focuses on supporting the integration and connectivity between the 3D human anatomy software AnatomyNow, developed by DTU researchers, and KMAX’s ecosystem of modern 3D interactive devices. Both parties have agreed to implement comprehensive bilateral collaboration:
• KMAX - A bridge connecting Vietnamese innovation to the global market: KMAX will be the exclusive promoter and distributor of AnatomyNow in China and internationally. This affirms that the quality of AnatomyNow fully meets the stringent technological standards required by the partner.
• DTU - A modern VR technology hub in Vietnam: DTU will act as a strategic partner in deploying KMAX’s cutting-edge hardware lines - such as the K1-600, K1-800, and the M1 series - in the domestic market.
KMAX provides not only hardware but also the perfect pieces of technology to elevate AnatomyNow. With 3D interactive computers, AI-powered laptops, and especially 3D-display devices that do not require glasses, learners get an anatomy experience that is realistic down to the millimeter, bridging the gap between theory and medical practice.

The agreement underscores both parties’ commitment to
continuously upgrading and aligning their technologies with global trends
The five-year agreement (until 2030) underscores both parties’ commitment to continuously upgrading and updating their technologies following global trends. The partnership brings the following key benefits:
• Exclusive advantages for learners: DTU students in Health Sciences and Computer Science & AI programs gain early access to world-leading 3D-visualization technologies right in the classroom.
• Affirming DTU’s capabilities: DTU’s technological products not only serve internal training but also demonstrate strong competitiveness and a successful transfer to the international market.
