Continuing to expand their networks of international education partners and promote cooperation opportunities across Southeast Asia, Duy Tan University (DTU) and Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration between the two institutions on the afternoon of October 22, 2026.

Dhurakij Pundit University is a reputable private university in Thailand. It has many strengths in training and internationalization of education. The partnership between DTU and DPU creates additional opportunities for academic connections, experience sharing, and the development of internationally oriented training programs at both institutions.

“Duy Tan University and Dhurakij Pundit University have significant potential for cooperation in various fields, particularly language studies, including Chinese language and related disciplines,” Assoc. Prof. Siridech Kumsuprom, Vice President for International Affairs, explained. “We’re ready to work with DTU to turn these cooperation goals into reality through practical and effective programs. We hope that this partnership will bring substantial value to education, expand opportunities for learning and development among students, and establish a sustainable relationship in the long term.”

At the ceremony, representatives of both universities expressed their pleasure at officially establishing a partnership and their desire for genuine collaboration for long-term benefits for lecturers and students.

Under the MoU between DTU and Dhurakij Pundit University, the two institutions agreed to focus on implementing nine key strategic areas of cooperation:

    student, lecturer, and staff exchange between the two universities,
    establishing and developing high-quality collaborative training programs,
    conducting joint scientific research projects and promoting international publications,
    co-organizing and participating in academic seminars and conferences with international reach,
    exchanging learning materials and specialized academic information,
    organizing special short-term academic programs,
    collaborating on promotion and on enhancing the reputation and brand recognition of both institutions,
    expanding and developing a global education network.

The cooperation agreement between DTU and Dhurakij Pundit University not only creates new opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions but also promotes academic exchange, enhances education quality, and provides valuable international learning experiences for lecturers and students in their long-term development.
