Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman and Rector said: “It is our pleasure to welcome you to this seminar to look back at what we have achieved at CMU in just four years CMU. At first, we made a big investment in technology development and lecturer training because we wanted this program to be successful. A number of qualified lecturers and 85% of the students enrolled the CMU program have been offered jobs, which is strong evidence of our success. I believe that we take over the CMU program ourselves in the near future”.

Dr. John Kang, CMU Director of Asian Cooperation said: “CMU has been the university that attracts the most head-hunters, as they have the highest number of qualified IT graduates”. It has been highly beneficial for DTU to collaborate with CMU. He added: “Four years ago, my colleagues and I made efforts to introduce this program in Vietnam. At the time of this accreditation, we are pleased to see how effective this advanced program has been at DTU”.

Attending companies went on to suggest some of the special IT qualifications that are required from prospective employees. Mr. Quach Tuan Ngoc, Head of Information Technology Bureau at MOET provided new information about short-term and postgraduate IT courses.

The seminar opened new directions and prospects, in the hope that the DTU/CMU IT program will continue to improve in the future.
