Ms. Nguyen Tran My Linh - Winner of the Central Vietnam 2011 Miss U League Title

On 14th Ms. Nguyen Tran My Linh of DTU won the Central Region 2011 Miss U League Title, which was added to a growing collection of first prizes awarded to DTU students in November, 2011.

The Miss U League contest was one of the three main events of the 2011 U League Season. Participants had to compete in three rounds, comprising a costume performance, an IQ test in English and a talent show.

From the very first round, My Linh immediately jumped ahead, thanks to her exciting looks and talent. The appreciative audience loved her two excellent performances of Belly and Modern dancing, and she won with an overall average score of 9.83 out of 10.

By winning the Central Vietnam contest, she now qualifies for the national final round in Ho Chi Minh City on 7th January, 2012.

 “I felt very surprised when I was selected by the DTU Youth Union to take part in the 2011 Miss U League contest. Most of the participants were very beautiful and talented so I was a little lucky to win. I am preparing for my best performance in the upcoming national final round in Ho Chi Minh City”, said Ms. My Linh.

Ms My Linh is currently studying Banking in the Accounting Department. She achieved high marks in the 2011 Spring Fair, in the 2010 DTU Student Beauty Through the Lens contest and various DTU talent shows.
