While the "Miss Cat" of 2023 was beloved for its cuteness, charm, and approachability, and the Tiger mascot of 2022 was admired for its majestic and powerful presence, the Dragon mascot introduced in 2024 was immediately hailed as "incredibly beautiful" for its grandeur and mesmerizing aura.

According to artisan Dinh Van Tam, choosing the concept of a Dragon descending onto a rock mountain was intended to perfectly complement the surrounding environment of Lao Bao Park, which is encircled by many mountains. Notably, a highlight of the Dragon mascot is the presence of a golden sphere at its feet, symbolizing the wealth and fortune that the Dragon brings to the people.
