Huynh Duc Tin said: “The competition in the 2023 ASEAN Cyber Shield was intense, and our opponents were mainly from strong ASEAN IT companies or training facilities. Without our complete concentration, or merely by answering just one question too slowly, we could quickly lose points. In addition, cheating immediately led to disqualification. Meanwhile, we were able to refine our hacking, perseverance, self-discipline and teamwork skills to achieve our goal.”
The UIT.pawf3ct team from the University of Information Technology, at VNU in HCMC, won first prize in the General group and the SECGANG team, from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology, won first prize in the Student group.
Previously, from November 13 to 16, the ISIT-DTU team had also received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training for winning another second prize in the Information Security Drill competition, held by the Department of Information and Communications of Danang, in collaboration with VNCERT/CC.
