On May 25, the 2023 “Danang Travel & Learn” workshop was held at DTU. Attendees included: Mr. Le Hoang Phuc, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency (IPA Danang); Dr. Mo Chul Min, Rector of the DTU School of Hospitality and Tourism; a delegation from Republic Polytechnic Singapore; Danang Young Entrepreneurs' Association representatives; and DTU lecturers and students.

Mr. Le Hoang Phuc said: “Danang is an evolving tourist destination with a wide variety of unique events and festivals, and has recently been considered as one of the leading centers of business in Vietnam. Danang will continue to invest in infrastructure and highly qualified personnel to provide the latest, fastest and most cost-effective administrative procedures, allowing investors to quickly and efficiently develop new projects.”
Presentations were given by representatives from IPA Danang and the Danang Young Entrepreneurs' Association. Members of Republic Polytechnic, from Singapore, received an overview of the corporate culture in Danang, the advantages of investing here, and how the city supports prospective investors.

Specific business opportunities in Danang were defined, including high-tech; IT; tourism; support services; seaport infrastructure development; healthcare; and education. Graduate students and investors asked questions about local government support policy for foreign businesses and the overall advantages of investing in health, education and technology in Danang.
Dr. Mo Chul Min said: “The 2023 “Travel & Learn Danang” workshop is an academic exchange that combines sightseeing with researching investment opportunities for graduate students, alumni, and representatives from Singapore. We hope that Republic Polytechnic will realize the potential business opportunities in tourism in Danang, promote student exchanges and invest in education at DTU.”
