DTU Signs Cooperation Agreement with EVVO Labs from Singapore

On April 12, DTU signed a cooperation agreement with EVVO Labs from Singapore. Establishing relationships with such companies is a long-term DTU strategy, aimed at improving the level of education and research, and identifying promising career opportunities for its graduates. 
 
EVVO Labs was represented by CEO Mr. Vince Chew; Danang Office Manager Ms. Hoang Thuy Linh; and DTU by Vice-Provost Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu; Associate Professor Nguyen Gia Nhu, Rector of School of Computer Science; and Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Head of the Technology Cooperation & Transfer Department.

Mr. Chew was delighted and considered the agreement a milestone in the development strategy of his company. “During our work, we aim to cooperate with well-known organizations to expand our network of contacts and organize activities in support of the community,” he explained. “We now have strong respect for DTU and put great faith in the university. Our agreement will benefit education, research, broaden job opportunities for DTU students and bring even more value to our mutual development.”

The signing 
 
DTU and EVVO Labs signed an MOU and agreed to cooperate on:
 
- Training programs
- Cybersecurity research & development
- Project commercialization courses
- Recruitment of qualified graduates to train them for international internships and careers in Singapore
- Co-organization of the Cyber-Security Hackathon contest
- Co-organization of seminars for IT engineers on cybersecurity and specialized English communication 
- R&D cooperation to co-develop research projects and obtain patents recognizable worldwide
 
The agreement will lead to the graduation of highly trained DTU professionals and enhance the strengths of both partners.
