On February 17th, DTU signed an agreement with the Global Logistics and Transport Company (Glotrans), attended by Mr. Vo Van Phuc, Deputy Director of Glotrans; Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice- Provost; Glotrans staff, DTU lecturers and students.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost, said: “Over the past 28 years, DTU has partnered with hundreds of companies in various fields, considered to be one of our key strategies, a way of enabling students to meet with prospective employers and broaden internship and career opportunities.”
Glotrans is a freight forwarder and, 10 years after its inception, has nine branch offices and agencies in 150 countries and territories. Glotrans provides general logistics solutions, including international freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, domestic transportation and distribution services.
The signing
DTU and Glotrans agreed to:
- Generally, provide Glotrans with potential employees
- Arrange student internships at Glotrans as part of the DTU training plan
- Recruit students to work part-time or long-term for Glotrans, as appropriate
- Jointly plan conferences and seminars
Mr. Vo Van Phuc, Deputy Director of Glotrans, said: “The close connection between DTU and Glotrans will allow the university to improve the standard of education and at the same time help us locate additional qualified personnel. The basic knowledge that students will acquire about our business, our requirements, recruitment policies and career orientation program will widen their future career opportunities.”
