The Times Higher Education (THE) has just released the 2023 World University rankings of the world’s top universities, by subject. In addition to the four disciplines ranked in last year, DTU has now appeared in the 301-400 group in Economics & Management. In 2022, only Ton Duc Thang University and Vietnam National University in HCMC were ranked. Vietnam National University in Hanoi also comes in this year at 501-600.
This year’s Business and Economics category includes 870 universities worldwide, up from 794 last year, including the disciplines of Business & Management, Accounting & Finance, and Economics & Econometrics.

DTU currently offers these Business & Economics courses:
- Business Administration, including General Business Administration; Real Estate Business Administration; International Business Administration (Foreign Trade); and the advanced PSU International-Standard Business Administration program
- Ecommerce & Human Resource Management
- Marketing, including Business Administration & Marketing; Digital Marketing; and Commercial Business
- Finance & Banking, including Business Finance; Banking; and the advanced PSU International-Standard Finance & Banking program
- Financial Investment
- Accounting, including Corporate Accounting; State Accounting; and the advanced PSU International-Standard Accounting program
- Auditing HP - Talent programs, including Corporate Management; Marketing Management & Strategy; Financial Management; Logistics & Supply Chain Management; and Financial Accounting
Since 2010 DTU has increasingly partnered with educational institutions and companies in Vietnam and internationally, to enhance the quality of education and adapt to changing requirements. Partners include Pennsylvania State University, one of the top fifty universities in Business Management worldwide, to offer courses in Business Administration; Accounting; and Finance & Banking. Graduates of the advanced DTU programs in Economics & Management receive from 19 to 21 internationally recognized PSU Course Completion Certificates.
In addition, DTU was the first private university in Vietnam to offer Doctoral programs. After success at the undergraduate level, the university is now developing Master's degrees and Doctoral programs in Business Administration; Accounting; and Finance & Banking.

Times Higher Education, THE, is a British magazine. The ranking criteria in 2023 are similar to 2022:
- Teaching, accounting for 30%
- Research quantity and reputation, at 30%
- Research citations and influence, at 30%
- Internationality, staff, students and courses, at 7.5%
- Knowledge transfer income, at 2.5%
