On November 4, DTU signed an agreement with the Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology to provide technological support to Can Tho and the Mekong Delta on practical research and solutions, to focus on new and high-tech applications and the development of key local products, inventions and projects that can be applied to daily life, production and business tin that region.
Accordingly, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology and DTU will work together to provide the latest scientific and technological information, methods and intellectual and industrial property for implementation in research, training and implementation of science & technology projects.
The signing
The partners will also enable local companies and researchers to access the latest technologies, and DTU will support the completion of the projects to establish technology trading platforms and then train technicians and other human resources. The Can Tho City Department of Science & Technology will focus on networking and also identify local sources of investment capital for existing DTU projects.
Furthermore, DTU and Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology will jointly develop partnerships worldwide and call for investment capital on shared projects to improve productivity and product quality and establish and protect new intellectual property rights during times of international integration.
