An Agreement with the Cho Tot Company

On October 28, DTU signed a partnership agreement with the Cho Tot Company. Attendees included Ms. Vo Thi Minh Ly, Director of Cho Tot; Mr. Truong Hoang Duy, Technical Director; Associate Professor Nguyen Gia Nhu, Dean of DTU School of Computer Science, lecturers and students.

DTU Business Cooperation Center Director Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien said: “By signing business agreements like this one, we are linking our academic programs with the practical requirements from local companies. This motivates us to continuously upgrade the quality of education. Today, we offer our IT students increased job opportunities at the Cho Tot Company which will enable them to acquire a better understanding of their future career requirements and plan their career paths accordingly.”
 
According to the agreement, the Cho Tot Company will: 
 
- Provide the necessary training to improve the quality of education in Computer Science at DTU 
- Participate in practical courses for students at DTU and Cho Tot as scheduled 
- Arrange for DTU students and lecturers to visit or intern at Cho Tot
- Attend the DTU "Career Day"  
- Support DTU Human Resources activities 
- Award scholarships to the leading IT students 
- Assist DTU with recruitment forecasting 
- Prioritize the employment of DTU students who meet Cho Tot requirements
 
DTU Computer Science students receive scholarships 
 
DTU will:
 
- Provide suitable potential employees for Cho Tot 
- Schedule internships for DTU students
- Arrange to provide foreign language courses for Cho Tot staff
- Supervise and monitor the DTU interns at Cho Tot
 
At the signing, Cho Tot granted scholarships worth 5 million dong each to 5 outstanding senior IT students, together with return airplane tickets to HCMC. 
 
Cho Tot was founded in 2012, with the mission of connecting Vietnamese buyers and sellers, simply and conveniently. Since then, Cho Tot has become the most popular classified advertising service in Vietnam, with thousands of items, ranging from vehicles, electronic equipment and personal items to real estate, pets and jobs posted on their website.
