From September 15 to 17, the Vietnam Industrial & Manufacturing Fair (VIMF) 2022 officially took place in the Da Nang Exhibition and Conference Center. The exposition was populated by over 300 varied exhibition stands showing today’s most advanced technology products and equipment. Among them, the DTU booth provided a space to experience the iRobt, an airplane passenger guidance robot, and the electric wheelchair created by the members of the Center of Electrical Engineering (CEE).

VIMF 2022 is an international industrial exhibition in the form of a roadmap held in the Industrial Complex and we connect supplies of machinery, parts, equipment, technology and process solutions necessary for the automobile, electronics, machinery, textile, footwear, and high-tech industries to related manufacturers. With many exhibiting companies from Singapore, Germany, America, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and so on, VIMF is the ideal platform for international and local manufacturers and suppliers to launch new products and appoint agents and distributors, etc.
VIMF 2022 takes place at the heart of Vietnam Industrial Zones. The showcase in Danang was populated by hundreds stands showing today’s most advanced technology products and equipment, including:

Visitors
Visitors could experience the iRobt, an airplane passenger guidance robot. The iRobt is also one of the scientific research projects in the framework of the cooperation between DTU and Danang International Airport. The product is the result of research and manufacturing by the CEE to contribute to improving passenger service at airports and reducing work pressure for airport staff as the number of daily passengers is on the rise. Furthermore, it conveniently and quickly provides flight information and other necessary information to air passengers. In addition, a lot of customers ordered the electric wheelchair displayed at the DTU booth, because it can support the mobility of people with disabilities and elderly people who have lost their ability to walk.
Within the framework of the VIMF 2022 in Da Nang, there is also a FOHOTO exhibition (Food Hotel & Tour Da Nang 2022) which exhibits of machinery for the food industry, organic food, canned and ready-to-eat food, and POS/PMS systems for the hospitality and tourism industry.
