The Certificate of Merit
Dr. Anh Hong is a retiree but volunteered for work on the mass vaccination program at the Dormitory Field Hospital, just west of Danang. As a dedicated doctor, she is unafraid of hardship or danger, and is ready to help her colleagues rush to the frontline whenever they are needed.
When the city became a hotspot in July 2020, she personally coordinated the ambulance team and transferred hundreds of patients for emergency treatment to the Hoa Vang Field Hospital, the Danang Lung Hospital and the Hue Central Hospital, depending on the severity.

When the virus was spreading out of control, Dr. Anh Hong personally trained her colleagues in out-of-hospital emergency treatment, especially for patients with interrupted blood flow or breathing problems. She also coordinated the Free Emergency Aid team at the Phuc Khang Hospital, which is ready day and night to help people in their homes, or transport them to her hospital or elsewhere, at no cost. Their objective is to provide optimal support to the patients during the pandemic and advise others on isolation, social distancing and masking procedures.
