DTU awarded full scholarships to several high-scoring applicants, including Phan Quynh Nhu, who scored 27.5/30 points and will study Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Le To Trinh and Nguyen Nu Dieu Trinh, with scores of 26.7/30 and 26.15/30 respectively will study Marketing & Strategic Management, and Huynh Thi Uyen My, with 25.2/30, International Relations. In addition, Hua Thi Thanh Huong, from Dak Lak, with 27.8/30, was recently awarded a full scholarship and enrolled in the HP Financial Management course.
Thanh Huong dreams of becoming a good leader in Financial Management
Thanh Huong, who graduated from the No Trang Long Ethnic Boarding High School, won the title of Excellent Student in all 3 years there. She was highly respected by her high school teachers and friends and was selected for several important class positions.
Although she believes that it is not easy juggling general class activities and studying diligently at the same time, Thanh Huong has mastered the challenge. “My advice is to work consistently hard using simple methods. I never missed classes and listened attentively to my teachers. However, others failed to perform successfully without the necessary self-determination and time management skills. I always exert much effort to achieve my goals and I chose the Financial Management course because it requires a basic knowledge of the topic and special IT, English, creative and strategic thinking skills.” said Thanh Huong.
Thanh Huong is extremely self-disciplined and added: “I always remember the saying: “Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it finally kills off all its students.” It reminds me that time is very precious, waits for no one and motivates me try harder and reminds me not waste time on meaningless activities.”
Thanh Huong also likes to learn from famous people. “Mr. Nguyen Minh Khiem, a Ph.D. student, Training Director of NLP Power Company, and Representative of Build a School Foundation, a charitable organization, and Ms. Khanh Vy, who is famous for the ability to speak seven languages fluently, inspired me a lot.”
“When I have no motivation, I often watch their videos on YouTube to refresh my spirit. I learned that I can make my life more meaningful if I do my best.”,said Huong.
Thanh Huong also practises Karate. She said: “I have participated in a Karate club for 3 years. Doing Karate helps me improve my health and makes me feel more relaxed after school. I received Certificates of merit for Excellent martial arts studentin each belt exam of the club.”

Thanh Huong decided to study Financial Management after searching information for many disciplines. She is one of the highest-scoring applicants awarded a full DTU scholarship and said: “My family were extremely happy to learn about that. I felt that all my effort over the years had finally paid off and will be motivated to study even harder from now on. I have carefully scheduled my time to balance studying with my other activities to achieve the best results. I am planning to improve my foreign language skills and participate in activities at DTU clubs to improve my personal skills and realize my ambitions.”
