On the evening of December 26, the DTU Faculty of Chinese Language held a 2021 New Year’s Gala, with lively music, colorful exhibits and left participants with beautiful and happy memories.

“In the jubilant atmosphere of the 2021 New Year, the Faculty of Chinese Language partnered with the Union to organize the 2021 New Year’s Gala, with dancing, singing, theater, a fashion display and other distinctive performances,” said Dean Dang Thuy Lien. “I hope that these happy moments will be remembered by lecturers and students alike. In addition, 26 scholarships will be awarded to attend the Chinese Language and Culture School in Kunming, to motivate students to continue to work diligently on the road to success. I wish all lecturers, students and their families a great New Year, brimming with health, happiness and accomplishment!”

This year’s Gala was exciting and boisterous. The dynamic and enthusiastic students created some colorful, professional and innovative performances, including the Lac Hoa dance, the Lotus dance and the Maiden’s Love song. A fashion display entitled “Sino-Vietnamese Color”, was produced by couples from the 32 Chinese Language classes, who wore the traditional Vietnamese Ao dai dresses and traditional Chinese costume, and was much enjoyed by the audience.
