On behalf of the Standing Committee, Ms. Hoang Thi Xinh announced that, in response to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s call for more support from the community combating the Covid-19 epidemic, DTU lecturers and staff donated 54 million dong between March 25 and 30, after the campaign launch.

The maximum individual donation was 20 million dong and the minimum 100,000 dong. This donation contributed to easing the burden on healthcare professionals and others working in quarantine centers across the country and strengthens the solidarity, mutual love and support in helping Vietnam combat the disease.

According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, no new COVID-19 cases have been reported over the past 16 days in Vietnam. The country has controlled the COVID-19 pandemic well, due to everyone working closely together, the relentless efforts of the frontline doctors and medical workers and the dedicated support of the army and police forces.
